I cleaned and removed eggplant seeds from an eggplant and they are on their third day of drying. Do they look normal to you? They seem very crumbly I’m wondering if they will germinate in spring

You can test if they germinate once they dry. Dampen a paper towel. Not too damp – when you squeeze it no water should drip out. Fold about 10 seeds in the damp paper towel. Put in a ziplock bag but leave a tiny bit of the seal open for a little air. Put in a warm place – I use the top of the fridge. If they are viable – they will sprout.
