I love seafood, and I love pasta! This is a simple recipe that combines garlic and parmesan Fettuccine with steamed shrimp and lobster and a herb butter. It comes together in about 15 minutes but tastes like it took quite a bit longer!

2 lobster tails
1 cup shrimp
12 oz shredded Parmesan
2-4 servings of desired pasta (I prefer Fettuccine or Linguine
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup reserved pasta water
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
4 cloves garlic
Zest from 1 Lemon
salt and pepper to taste

Begin boiling your water for pasta and cook according to manufacturer instructions (or use my homemade pasta recipe from my earlier videos!)

Steam 2 Lobster tails, and 1 cup of shrimp.

Melt 4 Tbsp butter in stainless steel pan. As it starts to foam add garlic, and lemon zest, and parsley. Let butter slightly brown and set aside.

Add 1/2 Tbsp of butter and remaining garlic until you start to smell it. Add pasta 1/2 cup of pasta water, and 3 Tbsp of butter. When the butter is emulsified, stir in 6-8 oz of the shredded parmesan. Next time, I will mix the shrimp directly into the pasta here. I also squeezed some lemon juice into the sauce. Salt and Pepper to taste.

Roll pasta onto plate, top with lobster, and pour 2 Tbsp of the lemon and herb butter over the Lobster. I tried one with the lobster sliced, and one without. It was definitely easier to eat and I believe looked better with the sliced lobster tail!

  1. Looks marvelous! Another wonderful dish from Zach's kitchen! Good job! Love the steamer 😋🤗👍🏻

  2. "So parmesany" 😂 I like how you sliced the lobster. I'd sprinkle a wee bit of parsley ☘️ Thats definitely a celebration meal!

  3. I'm glad you enjoyed your time in Hawaii, but glad you are back. Wow, that looks so good. I don't think I've ever had lobster but always wanted to try it. Because it is so pricey, I probably won't ever make it since I don't know if I would like it or not. I would consider it a special occasion dish and I bet Whitney would love it. You are so sweet to think of her and to do special things like this for her. Anyway, I can't wait to see what you make next.
