Designed it in solidworks using reverse engineering to find the right dimensions for the cold drip tower and after finalizing the design sent the blueprints to the carpenter. Total manufacturing cost was about 100€.

P.S. I have not experienced with cold drip brewing yet so any recipe suggestions or tips are appreciated!

These are the kind of setups that are actually worth posting

First of all, that setup is disgustingly beautiful, i am unreasonably jealous. 2nd, Love cold drip! For me it was the most difficult coffee brewing process because you don’t know how your grind size/drip speed/water ratio will turn out until many hours pass. I use a paper filter on top of the grounds to distribute the water and ive gone away from using ice water in the top chamber because thermal expansion of the valve has messed with my drip timing (mine stopped after a few hours when the ice melted and it warmed up). I used plastic or metal valves but looks like yours is glass so you might be able to get away with ice water! I use a light med roast, 2 drips per 3 seconds. I’ve heard it’s not a bad idea to saturate the grounds before starting the drip, helps with even water distribution.

Looks fantastic. How big of a pain is it to keep all the glassware looking nice?

What brand of tubes do you use for bean storage?

Beautiful and functional! I almost bought one of those cold drip brewers, but I’m such an espresso addict there’s not much room for additional caffeine
