Thank you to everyone who helped with ideas for the apple pie competition! I got first place! It was to raise money for the food bank, one pie for judging one pie for auction (the same recipe x 2). All of the proceeds went to the food bank we do every Sunday. Someone paid 100 dollars for my second pie in auction!
I took inspiration from a few people on this subreddit and made a caramelized parsnip and apple pie with a bay leaf caramel sauce. Just wanted to say thanks!!
