    A scar. Cut it off and eat the tomato. Or cook it or whatever you do with your tomatoes.

    Mold/fungus. If you trim off the damaged part, the rest will be edible, but not for long as this will rot pretty quick.

    I dunno but I have that a lot on my big tomatoes. I just cut around it and eat.
