It is one of the endive family, possibly what your supermarket labels endive or frisee. There are several that get the same set of labels, but are slightly different.

What did the seeds look like? Round or pointy? Edit never mind, noticed the starter. My guess is mizuna.

Not sure what it is. I also have it growing in lettuce bed along with a couple of other unknown types. It’s a little spicy, nice tang to salad.
