Swipe to eee what the cupcakes looked like when I piped them vs how they looked at the party :(

They are still really cute. I’m from FL and now live in Oklahoma and I totally get it!

I had something similar happen in my mom and dad’s anniversary cake. The one side started to droop a little even though I had the corners completely straight
That’s what I get for using whipped frosting.

I’ve heard that a full shortening frosting or sometimes a half shortening frosting will help this a lot since shortening has a higher melting point. However, shortening doesn’t taste very good. It happens though. They look really cute.

Aw, I can relate. Florida heat waves are no joke. 😭 It’s still in the 90°s a week into fall. They still look absolutely beautiful though!!
May I ask where did you get the geometric heart molds!? I can never find them small enough for a cupcake topper!
I also had a melted cake this weekend 🙁 I cried lol. They are so cute, I’m sorry they didn’t hold friend.

Honestly, I thought they looked great, and had to go back and forth between pictures to really see the issue. If I didn’t have the point of reference I would never have known.

The upside to having poor presentation like myself is it can’t really get much worse short of dropping it (which I’ve done, rest assured).
They still looked great!

They look good in all pictures. And yummy!

Still cute! I’m not thinking about how crisp the piping is when I’m shoving cake into my face at a party!

Australian here! Even in winter my cakes can end up like this, such a struggle 😪 But you took the before picture so you KNOW they were bloody gorgeous! I bet they tasted amazing too

Hahahaha oh man. It snowed at my house today. I think we are in different parts of Canada. The struggle is real!

I am in a baking program and doing cake decorating which is a big struggle for me and my chef warns us all the time about heat and frosting. Feel your pain. Looks great though.

I know this is too late to help this time, [but hopefully this will help someone with their future warm weather frosting needs](https://youtu.be/ptiFsI0rF4Q?si=ZbgwisVvNq4P7hOy)
You’d get zero complaints from me!
