Hello folks, welcome to our YouTube homesteading journey!

We live in Central Victoria, Australia, on an off-grid property where we grow our food, raise animals and live lightly on this earth.

This is the second tour of my vegetable gardens, on the 27th September, for the growing season of 2024-25. I take you through my three plots and what is currently growing.
I hope you enjoy watching and you have a great week.
Amy

  1. I have a question I have planted sweet corn a week or a week and a half ago I’m in avoca Victoria central west Victoria that is have I planted them to early or will they still grow please let me know this is my first year trying to get a head start on them please I don’t know what growing zone I’m in ever

  2. Down in Latrobe we had three days of "Hurricane". Trees down EVERYWHERE ! It was terrible.
    Your garden is looking great.

  3. Hi Amy. Lovely sunshine and your garden is looking good for the time of year and the severe winter you have had. Does your drip system run from a dam? Does it ever clog up? I haven't installed one but would love to, just worried about this happening and being an issue.

  4. Overall the garden seems to be doing well after that wild weather. Your poor rhubarb though . Maybe it can still repair itself. Mine is looking sad , losing leaves , I think it's hungry so I've fed it worm wee . I'll see how it goes. Rhubarb is something that I've never had success with . I planted out my horrid looking Summer veg today. I think they'll be better off in the bed than in pots for me. Thanks for the tour lovely ❤❤
