Started my spice journey as a kid with OG red Tabasco as a kid. I’d put it on just about everything, to the point that I’d get yelled at by my Mom for “ruining” the food she spent time making. Now, many years later, I’ve discovered they make a sauce that actually has a little heat to it.

As soon as I found out about this stuff, I ordered a 4 pack on Amazon. I’m delighted to report that this sauce didn’t disappoint. It definitely has that Tabasco flavor (especially the after taste), but you also get a bit of scorpion pepper right up front. And it’s spicy. It’s a little tame for my tastes, but the fact that I notice at all tells me it’s got some kick. I’m just glad to be back to saturating my food with their stuff again.

It’s solid but still overwhelming Tabasco flavor. Heat level was fine, nothing too over the top. I think I just like plain Tabasco itself and if I want hotter go for the Melinda’s or el yucateco.

Ya know it took me a while to find a shop that had it local but it is a solid staple now.

Is it true they lowered the heat sometime in the last 6 months?
