I’m not sure why this isn’t more widespread information but the same type of wasp that targets caterpillars will target pretty much every other beneficial insect you have and having them around is a net negative when you account for the impact of loss of butterflies bees ladybugs and mantis. They are not as beneficial as google would tell you at first glance and moths are major pollinators if you simply move them to the opposite part of your yard far away from the plants they will never find the way back and will either become a food source or will find an alternative

I watched a praying mantis devour a hornworm and it was the most satisfying thing I’ve ever watched.
