Thanks to /u/niiro117’s recommendation for where to find decent chicken fried steak I tried the newly opened Kellogg’s Diner in Brooklyn today. I couldn’t decide between the CFS of the honey butter chicken biscuit (inspired from Whataburger) so I got both and took the chicken biscuit home for lunch tomorrow. Or a late night snack.
The chicken fried steak was fantastic and just salty enough. The batter was perfect and crunchy and gravy was seasoned well and the right consistency. I highly recommend checking this place out.
It’s only open after 5pm right now but back to 24hrs soon.
