  1. I have made your fried rice recipe from your cookbook so many times. Everyone who tried it loved it. Thank you for all those delicious recipes ❤️

  2. Fried rice is comfort food. I especially love Thai fried rice. I like the smoky flavor from the wok

  3. I just simplyly love your videos. You explain things so easy.. give up tips on what if anything we can use instead… Reminds me of a TV cooking show … a little while back (wink) of a young lady who sounds so much like you that cooked on it. I watched another one today… "How to Make Dan Dan Mian (Sichuan Noodles with Chili Sauce and Pork)"…. I hope all are safe and healthy… watching from the Great Smoky Mountain, in Tennessee. Been a rough time down here and in North Carolina…

  4. Flo, I agree about the carrots. I don't get fried rice or even Mexican rice when they add carrots. At home it is cheaper and I don't get any ingredients I don't like. Thanks for always sharing a quick recipe that also saves us money. Have a blessed week.

  5. I don’t like carrots in my fried rice either. I like to add minced garlic and white onion. I mix soy sauce, oyster sauce and sesame oil and just a little water for my sauce.

  6. I definitely try to cook this tomorrow morning for our breakfast😋😋😋 thnks flo, perfect for this weather its started already fall season here in🇨🇦

  7. I always keep some frozen mixed veggies to toss in my fried rice. Peas, corn, carrots and beans. I make lots of rice to have leftovers for fried rice. One of my favorite dishes.

  8. FLO…..Fun fact……cooling rice overnight and then reheating it INCRESES the resistant starch (a good thing) and REDUCES the insulin response (another good thing) – so fried rice is healthy! There's scientific papers written on this topic and the same benefits happen for other cooked and cooled starches like potatoes and pasta – even if they are then reheated. I love fried rice and your version looks DELICIOUS – lovely chunky bits plus those prawns sure beat the mass of rice with a few treasures dotting the landscape which is the norm for a lot of places. Cheers from Oz!!

  9. Great video! I make this for my family, and they love it! I use pretty much the same ingredients you use, and add some dried shrimp, Chinese sausage, sesame seed, garlic, and butter. One of my favorite types of fried rice is Lamb Fried Rice, from an Islamic Chinese Restaurant! However, when I'm at any Asian restaurant, I have my family pick out every piece of Cilantro from any dish that has it! I can taste even the smallest, vile stem of Cilantro! LOL!
