Need a salsa ID! This is my fav taco sauce from my fav mexican spot. It’s VERY spicy (I have a high spice tolerance) and the texture is almost creamy? Would love to make it at home.

Salsa Taquera, which is salsa verdes with avocados. You control the heat by adding the spice level you want with green peppers

Salsa de aguacate

My coworker makes a salsa like this. He just uses jalepenos, little garlic and oil. The creaminess comes from the oil believe it or not. Sometimes is really hot and sometimes it’s not. Just depends on the peppers.

It looks super similar to this green salsa made with sautéed jalapeños / serranos / onions / garlic:
It looks like a salsa I make. Lots of boiled to death jalapenos, a garlic clove or two, salt, and enough canola oil to emulsify it. Blend it for a while. Spicy, creamy, and delicious.

Looks like peppers (Jalapeno for medium, Serrano for hot, Combo for deeper flavor) , onions and garlic, cook on low heat with veg oil, don’t put any color on the veg, blend it all add oil as you blend to emulsify the salsa, don’t forget to add salt to taste. From there you can modify ingredients try a tomatillo or two, try lime juice. I love how smooth this salsa is, I fill a squeeze bottle and it will keep for about a week in the fridge (maybe longer but I usually finish it by then). Don’t forget to shake the bottle each time before using.

At the restaurant I worked at; We boiled jalapeños and a bunch of garlic and then added it to a blender, got it nice and smooth then while the blender is running slowly drizzle in a neutral oil like canola or veggie until your desired consistency. Salt to taste. Do not use olive oil. If you want to spicier add some serranos.

Here’s a similar one that includes cilantro and avocado:
