I recently ate at Valhalla and oh my god it was outstanding. There wasn’t a miss in any of their dishes. And best of all, I didn’t leave hungry. Often times with these tasting menus I leave and am still hungry. Not here. It was just the right amount of food. And at $195 per person it was a very good value. I was at Alinea also recently and this out Alinea to shame. If you haven’t been go. You will not be disappointed.

curious, how did it put alinea to shame exactly? Am genuinely wondering how. I did look at the menu they have posted, and it sounds good on paper at least.
As an aside, they are the 2nd Chicago restaurant I know of to put Tonka bean on their menu. Surprised by that, since it is illegal in the US still 🙂
