Here’s my issues with it though. Really good burgers, I want focus on the meat and cheese, with tiny bite breaks in it. A slight onion or pick bite, a slightly more lettuce first bite, etc. And really good quality ones I don’t even care about cheese toppings.
With Pizza I want to smell the toppings as I eat it (which is why I never fold my slice to smell dough). I want not just the toppings, but to smell the sauce coming through.
Now is there italian sausage mixed with the Beef? Is the cheese strong enough to actually taste like pizza but also a burger? I think how its made here looks exactly what I’d hope for, especially no sauce on the top bun.
And as I get deeper into this I realize, browsing subs like this is a horrible idea when you can’t eat for a few days with a gastritis flair up from hell.

This reminds of the fried cheese cheeseburger that Bennigan’s used to serve back in the day. It had a big round fried cheese patty on the burger with marinara sauce. I loved that thing. Damn sure wasn’t good for me, but I didn’t care.

I had one in China that was made by a Canadian expat who opened a bar and restaurant.. it was almost like a calzone but the patty was wrapped in a thin dough crust with pepperoni cheese and pizza sauce inside! Soo good
