This is my first ever load of sourdough bread!

Recipe:
475g bread flour
325g warm water
10g salt

Cold proofed for 24hr

Preheated Dutch oven (500° for 20min, turned down to 450° for 15)

Baked 25min at 450° with lid on. Turned down to 400° and finished bake with lid off for 20min.

How does my scoring look? How can I improve?

How does the bake look? Any pointers?

How does the structure and crumb look?

Any and all constructive criticisms welcomed!

That looks incredible…I’m screwing up the courage to do my first loaf. Currently feeding starter and I’m procrastinating. How much starter did you use?

Looks great. You can use 10% whole wheat flour in the mix so you get slightly darker crumb. Other than that, looks super delicious. Don’t get disappointed for not looking like a Swiss cheese. Usually those breads look good but are not practical

    * forgot to add amount of starter to my recipe and can’t edit post:

    100g of active, bubbly starter
