Sauce is a honey buffalo sauce (Fanks buffalo mixed with honey and a splash of worcestershire for some tang.) Wife had some as well with a honey garlic rub (not pictured.) I almost forgot to grab a picture because I was so ready to rip into these things so my picture is after my 3rd dish change and isn't the greatest. I literally started with a plastic bowl before I decided I should use a real plate before taking a picture.

You look like you’re off to a good start! Happy trails!

Obviously meant Franks not fanks but the app won’t let me edit my description or I’m just dumb.

Started them off by drying completely then seasoning with camp mix. Not sure if this exists outside of the Northeast. It’s basically just a salt and pepper mix using several types of salt. If you can get it, then DO IT. Left these uncovered in the fridge overnight.

Then baked in the oven at 350 for ~30 minutes flipping in the middle. Popped the cooked wings in the fridge covered for a few hours. I work remote so did this during the day.

Preheated my fryer to 350 with some corn oil then fried for 10 minutes until they were browned and crispy looking. Dropped into separate bowls and tossed accordingly.

Crisp was awesome, but the meat itself was a tiny bit dry. Need to figure out where that happens, probably lower bake time or time between cooking?

Try a double fry method. I’ve been doing it and haven’t gone back.

I fry mine at around 250° for 15-20 minutes. Pull em and crank the.fryer to 375 and finish to what you prefer.

  4. They look good, but be careful…it starts with wings and soon you’ll be the family plug for appetizer dinners, Thanksgiving turkeys, and random fish fry’s.
