Needed a faster prep so I opted for some pre-made beef patties. Does anyone happen to have a good recipe for this type of meal? The sodium in these microwavable meals is off the charts. That is not something I'm trying to get into trouble with.

Where are the beef patties?
General beef patty recipe: mix ground beef with spices of your choice, such as garlic, onion (I use powder if I’m in a hurry, pureed if I have more time), paprika, however much salt you like/fits in your goals. Some use egg as a binder, I use breadcrumbs and milk because egg allergy. Shape and fry/bake to desired doneness
That’s how I prep too! So easy! Costco is your friend for that type of cheating.
It worth remembering this is not the worst option. This week wasn’t the best of the best but you got something decent this week and maybe you’ll go another step next week or month.
Removing an item from its packaging and heating it up is still preparing food. I see no infraction here.
Garbage food
Meal prep is about taking a larger quantity of food and breaking it down into meal sized portions. There’s no cheating, you could literally split up a pizza if it means you succeed in meeting your calorie and/or budget goals.
If you had to make everything from scratch no one would meal prep…
In what world is 8g of protein a good source of protein for a burger patty?
This is a win in my book. I’m not sure about from scratch recipes but I’m for sure always looking for the easiest ones with least amount of ingredients. 😄
I don’t see a problem here
