Hi all, very new here and to gardening.

About a month ago, I chopped a Roma cherry tomato in half and stuck a half in this pot with "tomato soil" (Tomatenerde in German, not sure if it has a more common English name). Now I have these seedlings! They're all bunched up though, which makes sense because they all grew from that half tomato. Also I've recently gotten 40L/10 gallon grow bags and soil and mulch, and am thinking of transplanting them.

Any advice on how to go about doing this with the least damage to the seedlings? How do I separate the seedlings from that bunch in which they're growing? How many seedlings should I put per bag? Also, I've read that basil is a good companion plant for tomatoes and I have a starter pot of that, should I coplant them in the same bag? My hope is basically to keep everything alive till next summer – it is getting colder in southern Germany where I live, and I may have to bring the plants inside soon – and they can start flowering and fruiting. Any advice or tips will be deeply appreciated, as I really don't want to kill the first thing I've ever grown haha. Thank you so much!
