I see a lot of posts about Jersey Mike's, and don't get me wrong, it's good stuff …but as far as chains go, Penn Station is god-tier for hot subs.

A crucial feature that really makes them stand out is their boardwalk style fries that are made from fresh potatoes that are cut in-house and cooked to order along with the sub.

If you're not familiar and ever get a chance to go, DO IT!

The philly is a grease bomb but it’s my go-to order, as a treat. Mayo, mustard, peppers, onions, mushrooms. Every topping but pizza sauce.

I’ve never heard of them. I live in western PA, are there any in the area?

One of the only good chains left

Penn Station probably has my favorite *chain restaurant* cheesesteak. As well as the fries, cookies, and lemonade are out of this world. It all tastes like high grade county fair food.

That being said I tried other sandwiches they make, I was not impressed with anything else they had to offer. I go to Jersey Mikes for everything else.

ohhhhh…. yes! love me some Pen Station, their Italian is incredible, love their chicken cordon bleu, and I can’t get enough of their chicken parmesan. Philly Cheese Steak is very good, but I have to be in the mood for it.

Darn! I had been meaning to try Penn Station, but my location just closed down. It was right next to a Jersey Mike’s so I always went there instead.

  7. Cause they lack in product….taste good but…..

I’m in a drooling state of bliss.

Last time I had a Philly there…it looked like catfood on my bun.

Very sad, used to be my literal go to sammich place apart from our local pizza and sub chain.

Sorry that’s a Philly steak not technically a sub. Your post has to be re titled or deleted

I’ve only ever tried them once passing through Bowling Green, OH. It was good. It taught me to love banana peppers and tomato sauce on a cheesesteak.

$24 dollars for a sandwich that is just ok doesn’t work for me

This is my exact order! Nothing beats it tbh

I go for the chicken teriyaki or the founders special. Add mayo, mushroom and onion!!!

My buddy in IN showed me them, and their pretty good love a hot sandwich.

Whoever named their chain “Penn Station” subs had obviously never been to Penn Station in NYC because that place is gross 🤢

  17. Maybe unpopular opinion but I think this sub should be for self-made sandwiches or sandwiches from non-major corporate chains only.

Otherwise we will begin to be plagued with ads

Penn station is okay for what it is but there’s other sub shops that I would prefer around here like Firehouse subs or Jersey Mike’s.

  19. Never heard of Penn Station, Firehouse has really good meatball subs tho.

They’re okay for what they are but I would much prefer going to Firehouse subs or Jersey Mike’s instead personally
