One of the most unique settings I’ve ever dined in. Entrance isn’t that out of the ordinary besides the chemistry beaker setup but upstairs is completely dark and immersive. We were seated alone in a room on tatami mats and dashi was brought out and heated by a candle (in a setup reminiscent of a bunsen burner) had 4 different soups: mountain veggies + shrimp, yellowtail, beef and vegetable + egg yolk, and a scallop ramen (that was similar to a ceviche almost).
