They are the best ones I think! The rest I find are overly chemically and awful. These ones have great flavour. And if you need a bit more spice you can add some.

  2. derpy-yeen

They are good just I’m a spice noob😭

  3. I don’t think the pink one is supposed to be spicy?

The spicy ones are the black and red packages but I wouldn’t recommend trying those if you consider the pink ones spicy, the red one would probably send you to the hospital

This is my favorite flavor so far, but my grocery store only sells this and the 2x spicy. Probably eat 3 – 5 of the packets every week

Why is everyone down downvoting this. We sound be helping people find their way in the spice landscape rather than ridiculing them.

Props on OP for trying. Jalapeno to this is a pretty big jump. If you like it, keep at it, you’ll be having the hot poops in no time.

The spice paste/oil I think is the same as their normal spicy chicken it just has the cheesy flavor packet to help keep it milder. If you can’t handle the whole spice sauce packet just try 1/4 or 1/2 or whatever you feel like until you can handle the whole thing if you want that. No shame in using partial packets.

Anyone that says it isn’t spicy, is just trying to flex and seem cool. You can taste the heat, it is there. Even if you can handle more spice it still has spice. I eat fresh super hots from my garden sometimes. And these noodles are still spicy to me, I can handle it but to say it isn’t spicy is insane

I love using the creamy carbonara noodles for my lunches

These are so good, but honestly it helps to only use about half the liquid sauce packet lol. Maybe less if you have super low tolerance. Some days I like them full throttle and come days I dial it back but the actual ramen is the best texture and the flavor is soooo good. If you ever find the corn flavored ones, you should grab them. They’re really weird in a good way!

It’s tasty, but I like to make it with a little broth still in there. After stir frying, I add some of the drained water, and voila!! Then throw some chicken in and poach an egg!

Makes the spice more enjoyable. Although I don’t find this one to be too bad.

  11. Yeah those are so good. My kids love them, we order by the box

  12. ashleyisakitty

Lol, pro-tip is to add another handful of shredded cheese (mozz or mexican blend is what I like) and it helps dull the spice. The first time I ever tried these I thought I wasn’t into it, but even though they are pretty criticized here – I kept coming back and now I like to treat myself to one of these for lunch or dinner once or twice a week!!

  13. you get used to the heat keep eating them dont waste them or ill take em 🤤

  14. Grimsterr

Yeah man, those are mild. Try the red pack next with the chicken blowing fire.

I find that it’s just the right amount of spice. And the flavor, *chef’s kiss*

It’s super addictive. I usually add to mine with beans (for easing those hot butt moments, trust me) and kimchi. If you wanna tame the impact of the spice, you can reserve a little more water and use a slice of American (or similarly mild, salty) cheese and mix it into the noodles with the spice packets and water. Makes it much more creamy and delish.

I love these but i also love the black buldak ones. for a fuller mean i mix the 2 and its perfectly spicy and flavored

  17. AdrawereR

I have tried the x3 Buldak one. Red package.

Jesus they compressed entire hell into the sauce.

    Overall I like x2, a nice balance.

  18. juicy_rectum

Asd cheese while making them. Make a cheesy buldak sauce and that helps with the heat

  19. AlfhildsShieldmaiden

These and the curry flavor are my faves. 😋

  20. Intrepid_Cattle69

Those are good, but the creamy carbonara was better imo. I prefer the Samyang black package one unless I manage to get some out of town, then I prefer Paldo brand Volcano Chicken

This is unrelated but I would like someone else to answer this:

Yo, I’ve had Bald Duck 3x spicy before and it wasn’t that good. All the spice was in the throat instead of on the tongue which I am used to. It literally just didn’t give the same feeling as other spicy brands and was just uncomfortable because it just hurts the throat. There was no spicy sensation on the tongue at all. There was a little on the lips but it just hurt to eat. Is this normal?

If so, why do people eat it. Also I’ve tried like 4 Bald flavours and all of them taste incredibly similar.

3x spicy, original spicy, curry and the hot chicken one

  22. I had this one a few times…. If you find this spicy stay away from the black packaging that says 2X….

  23. The-Heart-Marksman

my wife recently bought the variety pack of this brand from Amazon and i’ve had to eat every pack so far because she can’t handle the spice. the spice is great for me but i can definitely understand why someone with a low spice tolerance would barely be able to handle these. they’re definitely hot for a beginner, especially when you use the whole packet of sauce and depending on the color it could be a rough ride lol

  24. These noodles are not the hottest the manufacturer makes. When I eat this, I add spice.

If you want to up your spice game, increase your capcacian each time you eat mild food. You can do it! This way, you won’t have to complain about mild foods in a spicy Reddit feed.

  25. Milkyray

I have the problem that my stomach cant take this spice but i love them. Is there any way after eating them that i can prep my stomach that it wont hurt me later on the Toilette?

  26. alxjnssn

way too god damn spicy for me as well but they are the best noodles in the instant ramen game hands down

  27. enwongeegeefor

I know right? Hotter than you were expecting?
