What’d you do to piss them off?

If you have a sloped driveway you can use it as a wheel chock if your parking brake goes out.

That’s a challenge. Show them how it’s done.

Well, it almost looks like bread on the outside.

You’ve never heard of the bread giving where it’s half baked + the receiver must finish baking it and embellish by adding 1 ingredient to the top of it. You then take it to your neighbor once its fully baked and enjoy together.

It’s too dense in the middle. It appears it did rise but it’s great for bread crumbs. The thought was sweet.

looks like their yeast was dead, not sure how they didn’t notice it didn’t rise *at all* before or after baking..?

  8. And here i was, thinking about giving my bread to my neighbors.

    I think, technically, that’s a dumpling.

People always ask me to make them a loaf of bread, but this is why I don’t like doing it. I am always afraid that it didn’t turn out right and I can’t taste test before gifting.

Jesus, they kneaded tf out of that poor bread

You wouldn’t happen to be on the HOA board, would ya?

I don’t know if anywhere else uses the term but in the Bahamas when bread or cakes are undercooked and everything settles at the bottom we say the bread is “dumb”. But this one looks stupid

So, if you’re a baker yourself, maybe invite them over for a tea and baking session? It was a lovely gesture.

Challah takes a surprisingly long amount of time to proof properly, I’m always surprised!

  16. Inedible- I mean- incredible!

In all seriousness, that was a really thoughtful gift. Obviously something out of their comfort zone that took hours to prepare. Too bad it didn’t turn out well, but at least you have a kind neighbor!
