why is this machine so unpopular (never seen in this sub), especially in comparison to the Lamarzocco Linea Mini R

Nice setup! Quick question… where’d you buy your cups.

Your setup looks great. Except can’t comment on the Linea Mini preference. I own one since 4 years 😅. To me it’s more aesthetically pleasing though and parts are very easy to come by, should something happen.

Della Corte is not as well known as LaMarzocco. How often do you see DC in a cafe? How often do you see a LM, and a Linea? The LM is also a very sure bet, and is extremely well supported. LM Home (the ones who came up with the GS/3, Linea Mini, and Linea Micra) is headquartered in Seattle, but LM has a worldwide network that is second to none. Parts are extremely easy to find. Also some people don’t want to stray away from 58mm which has a huge variety of baskets, prep tools, etc. dedicate to it.

The DC (and many machines competing on price with the LMLM) is more features rich than the LM. But it’s a niche brand. Very very few people have heard of it in the US for instance.

  4. It’s a beautiful machine. I think it’s not “unpopular” as in disliked, I think it’s just less known. I’d never heard of it, for instance, and I have a Linea Micra. I just looked at the specs, lovely machine and I’m sure you’re pulling delicious shots. I like your plant wall!

What’s under your grinder? I guess it’s for reducing the vibration and noise

Where did you get the greenery back splash?

  7. Is that the DF54 or DF64 and did you change the wood part color yourself or did you get it that way? Looks smashing

I have seen that background on YouTube videos
