250F until internal 120, then I seared it 30 seconds each side twice.
Turned out slightly more cooked than I would prefer because I’m paranoid about the butter and thyme burning, so when I did it at the end, the steak was on the pan for 45 seconds longer with the heat off. But it was so fatty from the start that I think closer to medium was the right call.
What do you think?

Pretty hard to criticise that
Looks great to me
The marbling looks beautiful. Is this Japanese wagyu?
Not sure that I could. Looks fantastic.
Looks great
The only criticism I can think of is that plate of green stuff off to the side
0 complaints, I’d come back weekly if you served that in a restoraunt.
Fire 🔥
No criticism from me! Mouth Watering. What did you serve it with?
My only critique is not inviting me.
Truthfully I can’t even do a sear so it’s a lot better than what I can do!
Overcooked by a mile.
Perfect sear and seasoning, no visible gray bands, one of the few I’ve seen here that set the bar for how to prepare a steak. Kudos.
Looks great !😌
Looks great! What did you seasoned it with?
That looks pretty damn good. Nice job.
I can’t, looks perfect. Taste? Can’t tell.
Should be even red to the ends, try a shorter sear next time you did a perfect job
Pretty nice looking steak. 9/10 because I didn’t get to eat it.
Next time you should come to my house to cook 😆
Good job man
You’re right about taking it out of the pan later, but I would devour the whole steak though it looks amazing!
Not much of a sear tho.
You didn’t save us any.
Your parents never loved you! Oh… the steak, looks good!
Looks great, would devour.
That is a work of art
Looks perfect to me
You actually have a consistent crust and the black pepper isn’t burnt. Wonderful job.
Alright. The consistency in which you cut that perfectly cooked steak is absolutely asinine. It ranges from a 10mm cut to 14mm cut; a child could execute better quality control than you! Becky The Chimpanzee cut better slices of pretend play-doh *POOP* than you did and that’s *after* her lobotomy.
…AND the lettuce is bland.
Im about to go to sleep now I’m hungry, nice steak but I’m hungry
How dare you cook a perfect steak.
Theres only 1 critique I can think of. Cut against the grain and at a 45 degree angle.
