  1. I watched you when I was a newlywed and learning to cook. I learned and mastered the lentil recipe. After 38 years of marriage I thank you for such a delicious dish. 🥰😃❤️😋😋😋😋

  2. I love this guy🥰
    and egg salad, so simple.
I use a potato masher to mash the eggs.
I want a man who can cook and clean up after himself.

  3. God bless you Jacques Pepin – I pray you are ok! You, Julia Childs, Martha Stewart have helped me turn into a chef quality cook. I have learned so much. Thank you.

  4. Curry and tobasco sauce, excellent idea there!! I add some chopped dill pickle and Old Bay Seasoning to mine. Love a good egg salad!! Red onion is also on my add list.

  5. The 1-6 egg steamer by DASH is amazing for yielding hard and soft eggs that EASILY PEEL in minutes. The eggs turn out perfect.

  6. My favorite way to enjoy egg salad is on any kind of toast and/or on an open faced proper Long Island super onion or well seeded everything bagel.. I sprinkle a lil dried tarragon into the mix, it goes well together. One of the best and simple mixes to enjoy.
Big hugs to you Msr. Pepin, my Pa has said, "He's my brother." Pa has deep sentiment. You're one or two years apart in age. Pa is from Versailles.
    ❤ to you, always.

  7. That is way too much mayo!
2-3 tablespoons of mayo goes a long way.
Also I separate the yolks for mixing & dice the egg whites separately.

Boil the egg or eggs in a pot of water. After five minutes of cooking, beat the eggs on both sides with a tablespoon. After cooking, add to normal NOT ice water. Remove the eggs and the shell will fall off automatically. And the egg is still cuddly warm
