Australia is not old world. I just learned a new hill I’ll die on.

I love the great little detail of the Aussie Shiraz being included in the old world red category. Really the cherry on this masterpiece.

That’s a lot of… Caymus.

Listing a stags leap wine without an apostrophe is bold.

I’m not sure who runs the wine program there, but I bet they think Belle Glos is “smooth”

NZ Sauv Blanc listed as old world makes me want to die and take whoever compiled this list with me

Life is so easy as a wine buyer when you only work with one distributor lol. “Anyone seen the Somm?!” “Yeah, he’s in the luxury box at the Yankees game”

No burgundy at all, no red Bordeaux, one white Bordeaux (B&G) and second most expensive Red is the Caymus.

My expectations were extremely low and I was still disappointed

There are many appellation errors on that list so not only did that “wine director” bend over and take it up the ass from constellation and gallo (presumably through RNDC, Southern, Breakthru depending on the market) but they don’t even know how to properly label their wines properly

I’m curious as to the steak quality?

This upsets me deeply.

I’m a proud American but I do not mind losing out on American wine lists.
Between it all being Jammy Caymus Alcohol bombs and jeesus the prices for that slop, the typical prohibition on corkage makes it an easy miss.
1). The wine I’d have on that list is Mollydooker Shiraz which BTW is new world 2). It is weird to live in a world where people would pay 186 USD for a bottle of Austin Hope, even at a restaurant. 3). I kind of like Silverado if I have to (edit, I just looked at my Cellar tracker, I like Silverado Solo, I have never had Silverado
Nickel and Nickel is 250 dollars. I’m dying.

Some wine rep went in there and had their way with that restaurant owner’s wine list. That reeks of pay to play

This place let a customer that’s probably in their late 50’s or early 60’s design this list
