First attempt at Sous-Vide Tri-tip

    Never cooked tri-tip and most recipes I saw called for grilling it which I don’t have . So tried it in the sous-vide with a hard sear in a cast iron pan.

    Salt/Pepper/Garlic powder rub

    131°F for 5 hours

    About 15 secs sear on each side in a ripping hot cast iron pan.

    Super tender with still a meaty texture, little too salty though.

    I don’t mean to laugh but you can clearly see cuts with the grain. Its so odd to most of us.
