Question! I’ve been making bread for a while now, and I’m proud of my loaves. Here’s some pics of my results.
One thing I can’t understand is the fact that my dough is always pretty sticky and looks a bit deflated before baking. I’m fairly certain it’s not over proofed. I had over proofed dough the other day and it was a million times worse. It really isn’t a problem though, because they always bake up super well! The only thing that sucks is that it makes it impossible to score pretty designs on my loaves. What could I be missing? I just want a nice solid dough ball that’s easier to score!

Recipe is Southern Sourdough Co. Original Sourdough Bread
Do you proof overnight in the fridge?
Hi. Beautifil looking loaf. Siggest you bake for just a fewmins then remove from oven to decoscore once a thin skin has formed.
Happy baking
