Hi it’s me again…. I’m looking at other’s BGE here and noticed mine is not sitting center. Is this normal or what should I need to adjust?

That is what mine looks like so now I’m intrigued. You getting any smoke leaking out? I’m not

It should be aligned.
As long as smoke doesn’t leak, it is fine.
That’s the old style hinges and adjustment is a pain in the ass.
If you’re feeling spendy, I’d highly recommend replacing the hinge and rings. The new style is better in all ways. Easier to align and the springs can easily be removed so you don’t have to work on it whip they are under tension.
ETA: Thermometer alignment doesn’t matter at all.

Easy way to tell if its a problem is to close the bottom draft door and look in through the top while covering excess light. Look towards the seam where the dome meets the base. If you see light (your eyes will need yo adjust to the darkness to see it) then you will need to know if its off.
Hope that makes sense.

Easy adjustment. Loosen the top band holding the lid. Then twist the lid so that it’s centered. Now when you tighten the acorn nuts back up go slow and tighten them as if you were tightening lug nuts pick a spot to start then go directly to the opposite side. Then one to your right and then opposite side. That will help meo your lip centered on the base.

Ron from FOGO has a decent guide for you to follow if you prefer to watch a video about it. Your alignment looks close enough to me, but this video helped me out.
One thing I made notes about and I’m not sure if Ron covers it, but when tightening up the nuts on the top, start with the middle two nuts first (left or right, it doesn’t matter) and then tighten up the outside. Hope this helps. Super easy to do.
