Today I walked from mount pleasant and Davisville to mount pleasant and Eglinton, and I wanted to show a few of my favorite restaurants in the area! Including short descriptions for each place as well as my go to dishes

Churrasco Villa- It's open again and tastes just as good as before! Fully renovated as well. I'd suggest getting a chicken, sides, and the chourico sausage!

Tzatziki- This is a long standing restaurant that was on Pape Ave and now has a location here. The best thing about it? It stays open late! 3 a.m to be exact πŸ˜… The potatoes are some of the best Greek ones I've had, the souvlaki is great!

Yukashi Japanese Cuisine- Want sushi, but want it fancy? This is the spot for you! Keep in mind it's expensive as hell, but good if you enjoy tasting menus. Reservation only and seasonal tastings.

Positano- Southern Italian restaurant with amazing pasta, pizza, and my personal favorite… The beef short ribs! (Local beef short ribs, red wine braised, mashed potato, baby carrot and asparagus.)

Shi Bui Sushi- This place actually has a lot of awards and has won "best of Toronto" many times. They have a lunch special, but the prices aren't bad even without it. I'm a teriyaki and Maki combo person myself, you'll see in a second πŸ˜…

Domaine MaMo- I have LOVED this place since it opened. It's French-Italian regional cuisine, and if you're willing to spend a bit it's so worth it. The Cassoulet is to DIE FOR!

Florentia Restaurant- Yes, another Italian place I know πŸ˜‚ The difference with this place? The prices…are fucking amazing for the quality. I actually come here to get pizzas if I want take out because it's less than pizza pizza and is real and done in wood oven. Diavola pizza? Only $18! The pastas are also reasonably priced and homemade daily, and the chicken/veal scaloppini is fantastic.

Instant Du Palais- West African food in my hood? Yes please πŸ™πŸΏ The grilled beef suya combo is the best option if sharing, they also have a vegan combo for those who don't eat meat!

Wild Chicory- Rated diner's choice of 2024, this place does a wide variety of foods based on Canadian tastes with a fancy twist! Highly recommend the bison tenderloin, or go in for their very good burger or steak!

Sushi Supreme- Last but not least… So no, it's not fancy. And no, it's not the number one place ever. BUT this place has saved my ass so many times when I have been bed bound from cancer and can't go out. Why? Because if you live in their delivery area, you don't pay a delivery fee. And I can order my $14.25 chicken or beef teriyaki bento box and it still counts for free delivery! I've legit bought $12 worth of sushi before, still free delivery! (This just means I give a little extra on that tipπŸ˜‰ I am not even a 6 min walk away but still, gotta tip personally I feel!)

There's my list guys, hope you enjoy if you try any of these!
