I had one jar that didn't seal, so I had the joy of trying it. It's divine even before the usual waiting period that relishes and pickles need to get nice and flavorful. So tangy!
But here's the catch: I only eat hot dogs and burgers every once in a while. I suppose I could put it out next to charcuterie with some toasted breads or crackers. Maybe put it in sandwiches too. I also have a commercially canned onion relish that I want to eat through before opening any more of my jars (gotta prevent food waste!).

I’d try it in chicken & tuna salads, casseroles, add tang to tom sauces, try it in place of toms in BLT’s as a spread…

Dredge some cod in some seasoned cornmeal and pan fry the fish until done. Top it with the relish, and eat it with some creamy coleslaw.
I have no suggestions but I thank you for this recipe! I had a bunch of green tomatoes last fall and air was most dissatisfied with the things I tried. I will make a note of this.
Does it have a similar taste and texture to relish made with cucumbers? I make a tangy dill relish to add to potato salads and when making tartar sauce (having it ready-made saves having to dice up dill pickles).
Put it on your hotdogs and burgers. Goes great with a country style dinner too like pinto beans and potatoes with some type of meat.
In potato salad, in pasta salad, or in deviled eggs.
Anything with cold mayo based dressing can love on this. Tuna salad. Chicken salad. Heck, I’d throw a spoonful in a bowl of cottage cheese to add flavor!
We regularly make “toaster biscuit sandwiches” with a fried egg, zucchini relish, hummus, sharp white cheddar
Or the relish on naans with hummus and lightly steamed veggies

I have a radical idea. Use it as the wetting agent in fritters. Drained relish, egg, flour, cornmeal (or maybe corn flour?) baking soda, salt, pepper. Drop it into fry oil. Serve with a remoulade and BOOM, fried green tomato fritters.
Write your canned date on the lid and enjoy! Trade with friends who can, throw a dinner party and use some up. The possibilities are endless!
