I've been hearing a lot about this place recently on social media – a taco stand in CTMX that acquired a Michelin star. They are holding a pop-up in all Tacombi locations until the end of the month.

So, I tried them. The menu is pretty simple, they either have steak or pork. You can get both (2 each so 4 tacos total) for $22 which is quite expensive for tacos especially given what you're getting – see pic.

I mean. They're okay. Both meats were quite dry and did not have a lot of flavor. This could've been done intentionally to allow people to dowse the tacos with green and red salsa (both were excellent; red was really hot and had fantastic flavor, green was so flavorful with cilantro and lime flavors).

I don't think I will have them again. I mean, it's not like I'll ever see them in the city anytime soon once the pop-up ends, but even if they came back, I don't think I will be revisiting. But if you've never tried them before and want to try because of its "viralness" and them being a Michelin star restaurant, then it is worth trying just once.
