Having an issue with my new Anova 3.0. It will run for a bit then cycle off with no explanation? Have to unplug it and plug it back in, process repeats over and over. Nothing is jammed in there, the circulation fan spins freely, no error beeps, no error messages.
Anova’s 800 number is worthless. At this point I just want to trade it in on a different unit. Purchased from Amazon on September 2nd 2024.

I’d see if Amazon would still take it back.

Even if you get it functioning…you’re still stuck with an Anova in 2024.

you have to email them, they have a chat box on their website community forum that they don’t use FFS the people you will be in contact with are not technical, after all these years they still know jack shit.

They will replace it for you though, take pics of the serial number etc forward those on the email, link it too here so they can see what people think of the firm & lack of service these days.

Try putting your Anova away from the wall and in an open space. I had the same issue with my 3.0 but I was using mine in the corner of the kitchen so the humiditiy rising up from the basin would make the unit auto shut off.

Have you used it without the cover on your cooking vessel. My cover channeled steam into the electronics and caused all sorts of issues until I figured it out.

Do you have the app installed on your phone? I started having this issue when I installed the app. If I used the unit instead of the app, it would randomly default to the app settings. Which usually means turning it off(Or more accurately, stopping the unit). The choice was to either unistall the app and only use the unit, or any use the app and never use the unit.
