Trout were recently stocked in my area at around 10 inches. I like to cook them whole instead of filleting because it wastes less meat and perfectly cooked meet peels right off the bone. I normally pan fry them but my parents are coming for a few weeks and hate the smell of cooking fish inside so how should I grill them?

If you really like a pan fry you could just throw a pan on the grill…

Rub with olive oil, season with salt & pepper and place some lemon slices inside the cavity along with some thyme sprigs then throw it on the grill.
