We just had our first son, and my partner and I moved to the outskirts of the city. Since my next big purchases won’t be for me anymore, I decided to sell some crypto a friend recommended a long time ago and exchanged it for something that truly makes me happy.

I know some of you might think I went a bit overboard with this (lol, I did) but I love it, just like I love all the endgame setups I see here. I couldn’t be happier with it. I worked hard for this, and it was a real challenge to set up the entire station. It’s no small feat fitting a commercial machine at home, as you can see in the second pic.

For anyone interested in discussing beans, I’ve got some coffees resting in the cabinet and a fridge full of vacuum-sealed beans. Feel free to check out my Notion inventory if you’re curious! 🙂

What is the silver pen like hot water dispenser called? I have only ever seen it in a shop in LA.

What are the multicolored boxes on the back wall?

I miss a gas/ vaccuum setup to seal, pack and portion the beans under a gas atmosphere to have less air reaching the beans.

All specialty roasters have subscriptions to just mail you fresh roasts every month. Honestly, local shops are just a waste now. Plus they charge like $6-8 a cup. Home barista is the best hobby.

I think you just won, I don’t know what, but you definitely just won it

Dude you are the coffee shop, congrats on the baby and the setup

The mud bar equipment ships with spacers to increase ventilation between the components. If you’re not running it, 24/7 it shouldn’t be that big of a deal but if you are the capacitor’s and the electronics are gonna take a beating. In addition, I think I would replace the cabinet door on the right with a full mesh for ventilation.

Goddamn has Weber been astroturfing here? I feel like I’ve recently seen quite a few new setups here that all have an EG-1. Nice rig my guy.
