I've started going to a market near me that has a new vegetable farmer selling vegetables I can't get in the supermarket plus they're locally grown.
I'm so excited to be able to find purple and tuscan kale and things like this romanesco cauliflower!
Almost too pretty to cook! Any suggestions on what to do with it?

I’d chop it up and eat it raw in a salad. But then again I’m chomping on raw string beans for a snack right now lol
Roast it like cauliflower! Just with some salt and pepper, mmm
Cauliflower on a cobb? EVERYTHING’S ON A COBB
I love veggies but this seems really creepy to me!
Edible fractals
Romanesco are such an amazing example of fractals in nature!
Sadly though, it’s just a slightly harder, less flavourful cauliflower. Don’t get me wrong I love Cauliflower but I was mildly disappointed the first time I saw and bought a Romanesco.
I call it space broccoli.
I like it in curries!
At first glance, I thought it was a dragon 🐉. Beautiful color.
You can eat those???
And one of the most delicious as far as brassicas go imo 😋
