Just starting to try at home espresso, picked this up for $100 on local Facebook marketplace!
Quite pleased with it. I’m looking to get a good grinder to pair, any recommendations please let me know!

Grab a K6 and a drill. I’d be happy to message about my process and tools. I’m having good results.

I’ve been using the Baratza Encore ESP and it’s been great with my Bambino. You can absolutely get better (more expensive) grinders, but no complaints here as a beginner!

I got a Bambino on FB marketplace for $100 also – I was straight up shopping for ~$2k machines but when I saw the Bambino at a hundred bucks I decided to try it and am wildly impressed for the money. Quality steam wand and good steam power, and while you have to waste a bunch of water to temp surf the thing and keep the group head / PF hot, I get great results out of it. I’m no longer shopping for a machine for a long while.
I found a DF84 for $400 nearby also that I scooped and am getting great shots with it although I question the way the burr carrier and adjustment are built. Long term I’ll be looking at something else but for now it pulls great shots.

I’ve been eyeballing the small breville’s for my boat for a while. With the advent of the small single dose grinders I think I can afford the galley space!

Great grab! I’d go for a df54 or a eureka mignon

Df54 unless you want to go hand grinder. After using a hand for a year, I’m *loving* my df54.

100 is quite the deal. I just forked over 359.99 CAD for mine and have no regrets.

I did the same and love the machine. Also its a lot more compact than the $2k machines.

I got the same deal on marketplace! Already made a few upgrades and pretty happy with the machine so far. I’ve been using the DF54 grinder and have no complaints.

Just got a Bambino recently and I love it! That’s a great price for one.

Marketplace will have some great deals on grinders, too.

That is a great deal and a good starter machine to learn on.
