This week was a “shop the pantry” challenge since I didn’t have time to hit the grocery store. Here’s what I threw together for my husband’s last week of meal prep. It's a mix of Filipino, Korean, and Japanese favorites that should keep him full and happy!
Menu:
Breakfast: Tocino spam w/eggs
Lunch: Wanja Jeon
- Korean-style pan-fried meat patties with egg coating. Recipe here: https://www.maangchi.com/recipe/wanja-jeon
Dinner: BBQ Salmon & Smoked Milkfish
- Salmon fillet brushed with bbq sauce, plus smoked milkfish from his dad (no microwaving at the office!)
Sides:
– White rice
– Steamed broccoli
– Tako weiners (cut the ends for that cute octopus shape!)
– Crab tamagoyaki (rolled omelet with imitation crab filling)
– Kani salad (shredded imitation crab sticks, mixed with Kewpie mayo and sprinkled with salmon furikake)
Sweet Treat:
– Pumpkin muffins with almonds (used a mix this week to save on time)

Please include the list of ingredients for all of your recipes!
We recently added a rule (#6) requiring either a recipe or list of ingredients, since it is so often requested. If you wouldn’t mind adding that we’d appreciate it!
He is lucky to have you 🙂
I was so relieved to click through and see that “husband’s final week” meant his final week *of meal prep*
Looks delicious either way!
Love these!!! Thanks for sharing recipes!!
