Seems like everyone online hates them, but this is a solid sandwich.

It’s just not consistent enough. I’ve had decent sandwiches from subway but sometimes they can be really really bad.

What’s right with subway?
lobo_locos
When I was in highschool, 20 years ago, it was ehh, but resonable priced for a broke kid after soccer practice.
Now, the quality is even worse and, at least in my area, very inconsistent.
I would rather go to a local Mom and Pop Deli and pay a bit more to support them than give Subway my money.
That said, if you like it. Go for it, what does it matter what random internet people think.

It’s just garbage. Terrible quality ingredients make terrible quality sandwiches

I don’t hate on them, but I mean it’s fast food. I also enjoy McDonalds once in a while, but I would never claim they make a great burger. I feel the same about Subway. I’ll eat it and enjoy it when i need something quick and cheap, but it’s just never going to compare to your local shop or something you can make at home if you had the ingredients.
wackfree
what’s wrong with subway? the bread, meat, cheese, vegetables, flavor, and price. any other questions?
Ed_Trucks_Head
I like the variety of vegetables. Most places just do lettuce, tomatoes, pickle, onion.

For me it’s just comfort food. I had classes at two different high schools when I was a kid, and it was about a mile walk between the two. There was a subway right in the middle and the people that worked there were incredibly nice and professional, so I’d eat there like once a week. A lot of good memories tied up with that location actually, so I still get subway every once in a while to reminisce

If it was still 5$ for a foot long I’d get it more often.
Now it’s way too expensive for what you’re getting
Guyguymanmanners
Price of their product does not meet the value gotten for the same price at their competitors. Not spending 15 on their shitty sub when I can get a banger for same price or less at Jersey mikes
Zeccede
They just got too expensive and lowered the quality of their most popular options at the same time and for me they took it too far once they switched pepperjack cheese, now the pepperjack tastes like swiss so much so I had to look twice after a second bite

Prices are way too high for a sandwich. The ” artists ” are almost always very skimpy with toppings. If I’m going to splurge and pay $15 for a damn sandwich, load that bitch up.
TennisPleasant4304
Way overpriced for the dumpster dive sandwich you get.
Ok-Commission-4007
No more $5 footlong, that’s what’s wrong
mintmouse
Mostly their sugar sauces and the lower meat quality, not in terms of safety but texture and taste
Bmore_Phunky
$15 dollar footlong doesn’t hit the same
Christank1
I’ve never had an issue with the quality of the Subway near where I live. However, for the price they want, they can kick rocks. In what world is a footlong tuna a $13 sandwich?
Lazatttttaxxx
If the price was still reasonable I’d eat it, but I’m not paying $15 for a sub from there.
Kichenlimeaid
There’s a Subway near me, same guy has worked there for like 15yrs. I think we’ve gone there about 4 times this past year- I had not been there for almost a year prior to that and was surprised to see him still there bc I’m pretty sure they changed owners. But they kept him! I get the same sandwich every time and the ingredients are always fresh. He runs a good store. But it’s the only Subway I go to, and my husband and I make great sandwiches at home! Plus there are a couple of good delis around.
TimeGood2965
Low quality ingredients, overpriced, and inconsistent
ancient_lemon2145
Subpar bread and subpar meat.
TecN9ne
Overpriced. Quality has gone way down.
Bobbet2
It’s actually been proven Subway has the least real meat in their subs compared to every fast food joint out there basically. It’s all additives and not real meat… Bleh. If you don’t believe me go look it up.
