Took out some 가래떡 (garaetteok) out from a deep freeze. Just using Saran Wrap. It was there for about 3-4 months and I’m seeing this white stuff. Everything’s still hard and no smell. I’m assuming this is just freezer burn and not mold?

I’m going to make 떡볶이 for myself and some friends so want to make sure. Thanks

  1. Sorry I meant to say I took it out of the freezer like 3 days ago not immediately. That’s when I noticed the white spots.

    Looks like freezer burn. Can sometimes affect taste and texture
