The bambino plus pulls the puck at the end of the extraction making it less uncommon to have the puck stuck in the head. Today I removed the portafilter and the puck fell right into my wife’s cup. 🥲

Should have pretended it’s turkish coffee.

Only happens for me if I let the portafilter stay for several minutes after extraction. Then the puck stays there and I can just pick it off.

Are you adding too much coffee so it compresses against the shower screen ?

Maybe get a puck screen or some filter paper?

You’re overfilling your portafilter is this happened.

Not grinding properly if this is an issue.

Ah the shaky hands of an espresso lover 🙂

Grindsize incorrect. If puck is overly wet after extraction, it’ll stick.

That helps your bowels. finish it

Could have just poured it back through the portafilter into a new cup.

I don’t just remove it from the tray I put it on another table entirely, out of reach.
