I’m going to be staying in Times Square next week for a couple days. What’s your recommendation for the best pizza in that general area? Trying to keep it all within walking distance.

Midtown kinda sucks for pizza. Joes on Broadway is popular. They’re all gonna be good though and pretty comparable to one another.

I’d leave times square and make the walk to John’s an Bleeker. Pizza douche bag rated it the best pizza in the country so sounds like it’d be worth the walk from times square

It’s worth it to take the subway to John’s on Bleecker and grab a slice nearby at Joe’s.

Best pizza is not in Time’s Square for sure… however, these are good: John’s of Times Square, Artichoke, Joe’s on Broadway, Made in NY, and for the love of God, take a cab, bus, subway, walk, whatever…. go uptown to Mama’s Too. Go hungry and try everything it’s worth the small trip. Do this last though, it WILL make you not want other pizza in Time’s Square.

Go somewhere else! You can do it, I believe in you. Times Square sucks and so does the food.

As a New Yorker, get the fuck out of Times Square. No New Yorker goes there to hang out.
Some pizza spots I’d recommend: – Grand Street Pizza – Rubirosa – Paulie Gee’s – L’Industrie – Roberta’s
If you really are adamant on staying near Times Sqaure, then go to John’s or Made in New York Pizza. Don’t trust nobody that says Joe’s Pizza is anything other than average

I had NY Pizza for the first time in my life this past summer. We went to Scarr’s in Chinatown and it was legit life changing. My wife and I still think about that pizza. Cannot wait to go back and try more!

Man why all the hate for Times Square pizza. It fucking rocks big floppy foldable hot greasy cheese pizza at a decent price. There is nothing wrong with it. I would take it over John’s any day, but that’s just me. Had John’s in early 90’s while I lived there not really impressed, boring old thin crispy pizza that was kinda sterile and had no body to it and costs an arm and a leg. They actually had an ATM machine in the restaurant, talk about breaking the bank for a slice of pizza.
universal-everything
Go to Ray’s or Ray’s Famous or Famous Ray’s or Ray’s Original or Original Ray’s or Famous Ray’s Original or Original Famous Ray’s or there’s another one, I forget what it’s called.
