I’m looking for the oldest (Irish) ‘Barm Brack’ recipes that I can find. So far, this one from the National Library is looking interesting but incomplete. It uses caraway seeds rather than fruit. If anyone has any insights into the recipe or suggestions on other similar recipes from the era, I’d love to hear them (so would the NIL, link on page).
