    Nonna’s 1977 [https://g.co/kgs/jRTH78R](https://g.co/kgs/jRTH78R)

Really awesome spot. Really loved the rock and roll vibes. Each pizza name had a musical theme to it.

Elisa was super nice to our group and took time to explain the history of Nonna’s and explained each pie to us. The pies were not your typical “cheese and pepperoni” so it was nice to learn about each one.

Each slice was dressed with sauce, cheese, etc after the heating. I appreciated the extra little details of that part.

Not your traditional square pie by any means. The toppings were really tasty and creative. A bit more per slice, but each square was def larger than normal and the toppings/ingredients was a reflection of that. There were cheaper slices if you just wanted a cheese square. Def worthy of a visit when visting NYC.

  2. Place has been on my list for a while! Can’t wait to try some of those one day!

EGG DOES NOT BELONG ON PIZZA. I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL.

Looked to be a very tough decision. Pricey yes, but you’re on a pizza crawl so ya’ gotta do it.

As a long time resident of the neighborhood, I’ll say pass on Nonna’s. It’s not great. Andrew Bellucci’s is much better if you’re in Astoria/LIC.

$8.50 for a slice seems incredibly expensive. Even if it does have a cutesy name.

My pizza place near Seattle has the same prices. 😩

The dough really doesn’t look that great, how much does a slice cost?

Next to where I work they make slices of Roman (al taglio) pizza for 2.50 euros and they are delicious, the slice are a little smaller that said
