Wendy is evil and wants to eat your soul.
MaskedLemon0420
I liked them… they weren’t crazy hot but the flavor is pretty good. I got a 10 piece the other day and still had a chili cup full of sauce when I was done. Saved it and put it on mugs at home.
Yeah the nugs left a lot to be desired for me, though I’m not able to build my tolerance due to having GERDs lol
unthused
Looks gross too, but I also don’t like wings drowning in sauce.
forever_a10ne
Looks like Kid Cuisine or some shit. Ew.
Venge22
These are so dumb, I’d rather just have sauce to dip them in
RMG-OG-CB
these do not look great, but how did they taste?
Bombinic
Weren’t they just terrible?
bobdylanlovr
This sub loves to hate so much lol. These were surprisingly good. Obligatory not spicy but if you go to fast food for spicy you’re doing something wrong.
StlnHppyHrz
How much did that cost? I’m assuming well over $5.00. And I’m not including the soda. My guess is $6.00 for that mess of ‘food’.
No-Repeat1769
My local Wendy’s all are stingy as hell with sauce, like you’d be lucky if one face of each nugget got sauced. Even if it was disappointing in taste, I’m impressed by the amount in the picture

Those look like diharea
Ravine3
Yes, I tried them and they were not that spicy, but yeah, there was a lot of salt!
NTufnel11
The sauce has a ton of fat added to it. Decent flavor but not worth the calories
PlaxicoCN
Pretty good, but I was surprised by all the sauce.
oaomcg
They taste like a dirty ash tray. The hot buffalo ones are much better. Just don’t expect anything more than Wendy’s spicy nuggets in cheap buffalo sauce…
easy10pins
Maybe if Wendy’s didn’t drown them in bland sauce.
mmeska
That looks gross
GameFreak6921
Maybe it was just the Wendy’s near me but mine tasted pretty good and had a decent, maybe ok, spice level, definitely hotter than cayenne. I actually choked up a bit cuz I got some sauce in the back of my throat thinking it wasn’t gonna be spicy at all lol.
klaq
i could just get normal nuggets and put my own sauce on them
Able-Tangelo8480
Agreed. They aren’t that hot, and whatever they use in the sauce makes it almost taste gritty. But I will say. It was a good attempt they just need to refine it a bit.
Slatty317
I honestly like them i know they’re not spicy but i genuinely think they’re good lol
Return2S3NDER
Meh.
ilovecorbin
So gross. They’re so salty too
shadowsipp
I’d have preferred if they just gave you a dipping cup. The nuggets were soggy, and the texture wasn’t pleasant
fightinirishpj
I think they are decent for the price and convenience.
They aren’t super hot, but they have more heat than almost all of the other “ghost pepper” items at fast food joints.
Too salty, sure, but overall I give them a 5.5/10
Conch-Republic
This sauce is disgusting. It’s incredibly rich and greasy.
Sure_Researcher_820
The sauce has a weird greasiness that is not the greatest
Patient-Fail-5666
Agreed, disappointing, crazy greasy and overall disgusting.
WiseSpunion
I got a 50 count of their nuggets for $13.99, then a side of these. I ate them all
Charmy123
Most signage doesn’t indicate they are ranch which explained a lot for me.

I am a fantastic cook and spicy chicken is a passion of mine. I don’t normally do restaurants but when I moved recently, due to logistical issues, my fridge was delayed by two weeks. Most of the perishable foods I buy aren’t really the kinds of foods you can put in a cooler with ice, so I found myself just going to fast food joints in the meantime.
I went to Wendy’s and tried their Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich, which apparently came only weeks earlier. I have to admit I was **impressed**.
Was on the road a couple months later, saw another Wendy’s, realized I wouldn’t be home until very late so I got another of the same sandwich. It sucked. Was no longer spicy.
Did they change the recipe? Wendy’s seems cowardly where spicy is concerned. This has happened before — do any of you remember Wendy’s Four-Alarm chicken sandwich? It came out around 2009 or so and it was phenomenal. Then they discontinued it. I think I’m seeing a pattern 🙁
gruffmcscruggs
There was regret for me eating these. The flavor and texture was not worth the heat.
KC_Jedi
So bad
BrakSabbath
Tastes more like a Nashville hot. If they would have just called it that and serve them with pickles it would help the right people find it. Definitely not great.
Kibology
A nugget should be something you dip *into* sauce, not something you fish *out* of sauce. Covering “nuggets” in sauce downgrades them to mere “lumps”.
godbyzilla
I did not like these the flavor seemed so artificial I assumed it was just blended plastic peppers and ketchup
