Tested some cheese melting methods on mini biscuit pizzas. Pic 1 Violife shreds mixed with a drizzle of olive oil. Pic 2 Violife shreds straight from the package. The olive oil really helped the cheese melt better.
I feel very minimal shame to admit that for dinner most nights I eat 2 mini naan pizzas with violife mozzarella, vegan sausage, pineapple and jalapeños, with raw veg on the side.
I used to drive 30 miles away to get liquid Miyoko’s until I started using violife, which I prefer now over any vegan mozzarella.
Haven’t tried it with olive oil but I’m pretty satisfied with the melting.

Interesting! Bet the extra oil tastes good, too!

That looks great! I actually put the shreds in the food processor for a few pulses, till they turn into crumbles, this really really helps the cheese melt. I’m going to try that with the olive oil.

Am I the only one that doesn’t like melted vegan cheese very much? Its too gooey and can burn your mouth because it just sticks. I’ve grown to actually prefer the ones with limited meltnlike violife without the extra fat added.

Oh man, I forgot about biscuit pizzas. I think my mom made them maybe 3 or 4 times in 1968 and never again. We ate them, because we ate almost anything.
