I’ve never had meat with pancakes, they have always been a sweet thing not a savoury thing. I suppose that is from growing up with savoury fritters.( Unsweetened pancake mix with corned beef and vegetable then fried like pancakes) My nephew loves bacon and maple syrup on his pancakes.
