I’ve been off Gluten for 10 years, wheat, barley, rye it’s a big list. Instead Potatoes, Rice, Oats and Corn and the lesser knowns like buckwheat, amaranth, millet etc. Soluble and insoluble fiber from fruits and vegetables too. I can see why Bodybuilders have to narrow down that list.
Both sweet potatoes and carrots have sugar alcohols…a little confused why carrots are S tier then?
Rice is the absolute best for me, digests like nothing else
Learned a ton from this, thank you
What’s your opinion on vegetable quinoa for a growth diet?
Thank you very much Dr Todd ! Appreciate you 🥇
BTW Walmart sells Fat free southern style hash browns, just diced up frozen potatoes. Used to be super cheap before all the inflation
Cheat meal tier list
Shredded Wheat >> Oatmeal for cutting; oatmeal is still very calorie dense, B tier tops. I think Oatmeal is prime bulking carbs before bed.
Brown rice gives you diarrhoea.. Just a straight up, blanket statement?
I don't know that that's a great argument for D tier given there's no way brown rice gives everyone, in any quantity diarrhoea.
If you meant, you can't eat large enough amounts of it to benefit from all the fibre, due to the diarrhoea, that'd be understandable
fat loss agents tier list next
Basmati rice won't make my back hairy like Masteron 😅
Another great video. Only thing I disagree with is potatoes. Damn things make me so bloated and ruin my digestion. This seems to happen both when eaten freshly cooked and when reheated, with more resistive starch.
Also laughed out loud to “don’t extrapolate this out to other days” 😅
Great video, thanks man
Told it’s ok to say bulking, John Jewett uses the term regularly in his program. Anyone with common sense knows this doesn’t mean get fat.
Carbs are terrible for humans
No way jasmine rice is 110 GI lol. It’s about 65-70. Pure dextrose is 100 GI
Awesome video!
Mom's cooking >>> Everything else
Oat Bran has been a game changer as far as satiety and digestion.
I'm surprised that you ranked things with galacto-oligosaccharides higher than things with gluten in them.
Minute rice ground up in a ninja. Home made cream of rice with out the added iron 💪🏼
Ultra marathon runners often claim white potatoes are the best overall food on the trail. Those guys are running a hundred miles in a wknd. Bodybuilders considerations, especially during prep will be different.
All these beta males. Smh
So do you not even recommend sweet potatoes in a bulk as well?
Could you explain in a bit more detail why gluten is so bad? It’s the first time I’ve ever heard that before & im really interested – if not just a link/name of somewhere I can find why it’s so bad would be great🙏
Thank you for this video. I hope you do this with all the different aspects of diet. There’s a lot of good but missing info with diet.
