Alternative title: Lessons were learned…

I’m back at it, for my 4th go at sugar cookies and decided to dive into one of the more difficult cookies in Megan Warne’s masterclass.

Spoiler: it was difficult

Lessons:
– My hybrid icing was definitely not hybrid enough. My poor croc’s teeth became very melty looking.

  • Flooding with hybrid is great for complicated shapes, but you really have to be careful about cratering.

  • The little shape transfers are easy and fun as hell to do

  • Cutting out your cookie shapes with paper stencils instead of cookie cutters takes a long time, but opens an entire world of fun shapes!

  • I am slow AF at making cookies, but it is delightful.
